Eve of the Eve Greetings

All right, folks, I'm afraid I have to call you out. Each and every one of you. Yes, you too, that one of you who thinks I can't be talking about him. It's Christmas Eve Eve, and I'm hearing crickets.

You ought to remember that I created the Holiday I put a lot - a lot - of thought into it. As second after second passed that day so long ago I was beginning to fear that the creative juices had escaped me, that I would not be able to come up with this new day to celebrate. Yet I did find the inspiration, and offered you the fruit of my genius free of charge and for your own benefit. And what have you done with it?

Nothing. Zip, zilch, nada.

So we're going to try it again. Get with the program, slackers. Yes, even you. You know who you are.

Happy Christmas Eve Eve, everybody!

Was that so hard?

The Eve of the Eve

I hope everybody remembers the holiday I created. They don't? Well, here's a refresher: Christmas Eve Eve

And here's here: 2021

So happy Christmas Eve Eve! Just remember I own the copyright. The rampant consumerism begins and ends with me. Get going!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve 2021

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! If you remember, it's a new holiday which I created just last year. You can read about it here: Christmas Eve Eve

You forgot, didn't you? Or you only just remembered and was hoping I'd forgotten, right? Just for that, no Christmas Eve Eve gifts for you. And that's not because I never actually bought them either.

So again, Happy Christmas Eve Eve. We'll do it again in 2022. Be ready next time.

Glitz up for Groundhog Day

It's the First of February! And as I've already taken upon myself to create new holidays (remember Christmas Eve Eve? Of course you do! Well, Ron might not) I declare this Groundhog Eve. So, Happy Groundhog Eve everyone!

And it just so happens that I've developed a list of Groundhog Eve decorations, right on time for this festive occasion. Do you have you Groundhog Tree up yet? How about Groundhog garland for around the handrail of your staircase? And of course your home would not be complete without the Groundhog wreath garnishing you front door.

Just talk to me and I guarantee you'll get the best, low prices. But hurry: the money that I'm getting from that Nigerian prince won't pay itself back. Perhaps you could join me in the effort. We'll split the proceeds evenly, exactly His Highness promised to do with me.

Christmas Eve Eve

Is that okay? Is that all right? Can I call December 23 Christmas Eve Eve? The Eve of the Eve of Christmas?

I suppose I just did, eh? Well, why not? The anticipation is pretty much there just the same as with December 24th by now, isn't it?

My Christmas Eve Eve 2020 will be spent in part driving through small towns looking at their Christmas decor. Sure, I'm working. But it almost doesn't feel like work in such an atmosphere.

I should do this every year. And thus Marty decrees: from this day hence shall the Twenty Third of December every winter be Christmas Eve Eve. Thus shall it be written; thus shall it be done.

Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone!
